Well we have found our groove at last!!!

After a great trip with Joe, we had a day off (well in the engine room anyway) and started 5 days with the boys from Moscow.

Ran out to Jenny Louise in slick calm conditions and put the baits out for the trip back out wide. We had 5 bites for the day, pulled a couple of smaller ones off, and got a real nice 900 lber. All these bites were within 20 miles of the edge, and we still had another 30 or so to get out wide to the longliners.

Sunday we had a bite from a blue marlin but did not convert. today (monday) we trolled back in and pulled off a 300 lb black on a lure and as soon as we got back to the edge had a bite from another nice one, about 700, that spat the bait after afew minutes, then she came back up for a look at the scad and the camera but no bite this time.

Anchored at Opal Reef for the night, and after driftign for the past week out at sea is really nice!!!

Off for a swim in the morning and then back out to the edge.
