Last night was a big night at the Marlin Barn on Lizard Island.

The place was jumping and we definately gave it our best.
We stuck to our gameplan and went south again to Lena and the lower Ribbons. We saw 2 straight away, but neither ate ,and one even swam right up to the transom lit up and having a good look at the back of the boat.

We fished hard and jumped off 2 fish, one a real nice one and the other about 250, both of which fell off for Brandon with the double out of the water, and both went away.

We saw a couple more, and heard our placing slipping away!!.

At the end of fishing at 4pm, we were at the top of #4 and fished up 5 to give us a shorter run home.
Of course Brandon caught 2 in the next 35 minutes!!!!, one about 250 and nice one about 550lbs.

Here are the final results, with us getting a daily.
Kanahoee won with 9 Tags. Maratimo with 8 Tags from other boats also on 8 Tags Calypso, Mistress, Viking II and Mauna Kea. We finished at 7th on 7 Tags.

We had enough bites to win, but lost 4 fish, so thats that.

Back out today, but did not see one. Heading back to the middle Ribbons tomorrow. Will get some pictures up in the next few days.
