Hi everyone, its been a busy time on both boats, with a great season in Cairns in 2016 on the Tradition, with our biggest fish of the season at 1054 lbs, out of the 67 black marlin we caught.
Our 2017 season for Cairns has a few prime openings available, message me for information if you are interested.
I have been back in San Juan , Puerto Rico, doing some upgrades to the CHASER, with all new GARMIN electronics and the biggest Airmar transducer, going to to be great to have the latest gear!!!
Garrett will be crewing with me again this year, and we head back to Casa De Campo on Feb 22, after we attend the Billfish Foundation annual awards dinner, where I will received the award for tagging the most black marlin in the Pacific with TBF tags for 2016, the 8th year in a row we have won this.
We have the following opens in DR for 2017:
Casa De Campo Feb 21 to April 29 2017. Capt Tim Richardson will be fishing out of Casa De Campo, a well known destination for light tackle blue marlin fishing. With many days of 4-6 blue marlin tagged and up to 10 fish seen. We are typically fishing 30 lb tackle, but also pitching with 50 lb for 100-250 lb blue marlin. This is the best place in the world for fly and light tackle blue marlin fishing that is close to the US.
For 2017 we have a lovely 3 bedroom condo with the boat parked behind it for your convenience. With a full time maid and golf cart and wifi, we are only 20 minutes from La Romana Airport, and an hour from Santo Domingo and Punta Cana on the new highway. I have an english speaking driver available to pick you up at the airport and bring you safely to the condo.
The boat and condo are available as a package or separately.
VERY limited availability, February 22 to March 14 is avialable, March 21 to 24, March 30 to April 12, then sold out till 2018 at Casa De campo
Then we move over to Cap Cana (Punta Cana)

Cap Cana is 7 miles from the Punta Cana International Airport. Punta Cana offers direct flights daily from all over the world and the whole Cap Cana and Punta Cana region have many accommodation options, as well as golf, natural springs and all the holiday activities you would expect in a world class resort region.

With plenty of marlin, dorado, tunas and the odd wahoo, its a great place to visit for the most consistent marlin bite in the western atlantic for the last few years.

May 11- 14, May 22 to 30, the international Tournament May 31 to June 4th, and then June 6 into July are currently open, then North Drop, BVI, St Martin etc thru mid August
Mid July to Mid August British Virgin Islands and Caribbean
Fishing out of the BVIs, St Martins Marlin boulevard, there are lots of options for day trips, family trips and exploring the islands as a liveaboard trip.

February – St Lucia, Fishing our way for a week through the islands to St Lucia, anchoring out, exploring etc and fishing all the way Feb 1-7 tentative dates
Fishing out of Marigott Bay in St Lucia for the middle 2 weeks of February, and the then a return trip to Casa De Campo last week in February
March and April – Marina Casa De Campo with the condo for blue marlin on the FADS
May and June into July – Marina Cap Cana for whites and blue marlin
July and August – Caribbean blue marlin fishing , cruising, exploring, whatever you can dream of !!!!
CAIRNS – LIZARD ISLAND AUSTRALIA

Trip up the coast, Gold Coast to Cairns, around Sept 7ish to Sept 15 ish
September 22 to 30 , Start this trip in Cairns, finish in Cooktown
October 15-31 , Start and finish in Cooktown
November 5-13, Start in Cooktown and finish in Cairns
Nov 25 onwards
Trip south from Cairns leaving around Nov 26 wish and fishing our way south,
Dec 5-15 spend a week or two fishing out of Fitzroy Reef and Lady Musgrave Island for blues and blacks, a great anchorage, and really good fishing, diving and fun at remote location. in 3 days December 2016 we tagged 6 from 7, 6 blacks and 1 blue, and weighted a 1054 black
